If you work in the Microsoft technology space you are probably aware of the mass of people who refresh their inboxes like a mad man on the first of the month. It used to be on the first of every quarter but that has since changed. I’ll admit that I was one of those individuals for some time. For those that might not know, I’m referring to the Microsoft MVP award program. This award program is an annual award that recognizes technology community leaders worldwide. These leaders actively share their knowledge, expertise with others in many different facets of the Microsoft technology stack. Award recipients have a deep commitment to the community and display a willingness to help others.
