I’ve got a new article up on SearchSQLServer.com where I talk a bit about the new Parallel Data Warehouse edition of SQL Server 2008 R2.

Has anyone started implementing it?
As far as I know, no one has. I’m sure that there are people looking at it.
Keep in mind that SQL Server 2008 R2 hasn’t been released yet, so anyone attempting to put this into production today would be doing so with the release candidate.
Once the product is released for purchase I’m sure more people will begin looking at it for production use.
