Installing SQL Server on Windows Server 2008

Published On: 2008-07-03By:

I ran across an excellent post from Shawn Hernan of the SQL Server Development team (the guys that write SQL Server).  Shawn has put out an excellent blog post on what needs to be done to get SQL Server2005 or SQL Server 2008 installed on Windows Server 2008.

You can find the post here.

Requirements to restart computers during SQL Server Setup: Installation of the .NET Framework requires a restart of the operating system. If Windows Installer installation also requires a restart, Setup will wait until the .NET Framework and Windows Installer components have installed before restarting. -[A href=”www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qhq-Qtb5C6Y”]Instant Tax Solutions[/A]
